When I was your age…

So, i was just thinking:

a) I am a big dumb stupid geek for thinking about work at 1 am

-and -

b) only a year ago, I thought that the pinnacle of campaign internet mobilization was making sure that supporters could find info about the candidate, give money, see comparisons with competing candidates, send letters to the editor, get a lawn sign, volunteer, subscribe for email alerts and print out flyers (incidently, the websites of major candidates in the most competitive US Senate and House elections in 2002 only included about 4 or 5 of the above).

Now, I am fixated on learing more about social-networking software, blogs, and even more crazy crap.
